Women in Pharma 2018

UBM India’s Women in Pharma Summit celebrates the doers and the doing; an initiative aimed at acknowledging and celebrating the significant and continued contribution of women to the pharmaceutical industry.

The summit will bring together women luminaries from the world of pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, and life sciences on a common platform to share their success stories, experiences, and knowledge. Revolving on 3 core pillars; leadership, entrepreneurship and gender diversity, the 3rd edition of Women in Pharma will feature keynote addresses, scintillating panel discussions, fireside chats and interstitial spotlights.

With the overarching theme of Raising the bar, we believe that businesses that empower women can empower businesses by having an all-inclusive culture of diversity. Women in Pharma 2018 will bring together renowned and accomplished women leaders who not only aspire but also raise the bar and redefine leadership.

Conferences like these encourages women

I think it’s very important that women are given a space, where they can share their concerns, their thoughts, their opinions. I am glad we spoke about healthcare, the dynamics and the regulations of healthcare along with the specific issues and concerns with woman. Conferences like these encourages women to think about things which may be they are not getting a chance to discuss in their own workplaces.

It’s a great start and a great platform given by UBM

It was really wonderful. It’s a great forum and opportunity to come and share my own experience. I think it’s a great start and a great platform given by UBM because as we create awareness, there is an opportunity to do more and at least we have a forum where we have academia and we have industry all coming in and sharing experiences and we all are also learning.

UBM is extremely forward looking

I think this initiative by UBM is extremely forward looking. It’s extremely important that in every event there has to be a focus on these issues (Diversity of women) to get highlighted and talked about so that solutions can emerge and more perspectives can be gathered.
